The latest bi-annual update on our engagement initiative, The John Muir Award, has a broad spectrum of items in its current issue.
As it nears its 21st birthday, there’s an invitation to share stories and signposting to a lead item in the Autumn John Muir Trust Journal. A range of new publications are highlighted, including Curriculum and Inclusion documents, a case study about pollinators, and an introduction to our innovative new Record eBook – ‘let’s get digital’.
We’re delighted to support a new book and educational initiative, The Lost Words, by Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris – and have created a Literacy & Nature Resource Guide to tie in with this.
Tree Charter Principles – and an invitation to be a signatory to the Charter – and the upcoming Year of Young People 2018 in Scotland – are also highlighted.
