Annual General Meeting 2022
Members are invited to register to attend our Thirty-ninth Annual General Meeting to be held online on Saturday 11 June 2022.
The John Muir Trust's Thirty-ninth Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held online on Saturday 11 June 2022 at noon, with staff updates from 11am.
Below are details on how to register to attend the AGM, voting, key dates relating to the Trustee elections and proxy voting, and further information on how to join us.
All Members are welcome to attend the AGM. To register your attendance at the AGM, please click the 'Book tickets' button at the top of this page.
You will need your Membership number to register. You can find this in the letter and/or email sent to you by our host Civica (from the email email@example.com). If you cannot find it, contact our Membership team.
When booking, you will be asked for your name, email address and Membership number. If you have a Joint/Family membership, you will be able to select this option.
- AGM registration closes at 12.30pm on Monday 6 June 2022.
Voting at the AGM will take place online using Civica's CES platform. This is also the platform you will use to access the AGM livestream.
You will receive information from Civica a few days prior to the AGM informing you how to access the voting platform.
3. Trustee elections and proxy voting
To participate in the Trustee elctions, please refer to the information sent to you by Civica via post and/or email. Voting closes at 12.30pm on Friday 27 May 2022.
If you are unable to attend the AGM on 11 June but would still like to cast your vote, please complete the proxy voting ballot sent to you by Civica via post or online by 12.30pm on Friday 27 May 2022.
- To vote in the Trustee elections or AGM, you should have been a member of the John Muir Trust for six months or more. Please refer to our Articles of Association for further information.
4. Joining us on the day
If you are attending the AGM on 11 June, please monitor your emails in the days leading up to the AGM. You will receive information from Civica (it will appear as CES in your inbox) on how to access the meeting.
The meeting will be held over Zoom.
The event will start at 11am with updates from John Muir Trust staff. The AGM will commence at midday followed by an Open Forum. We aim to finish the event at 2.30pm.
Final details about the timings and format of the day will be released in due course.
