Located on the corner of Atholl Road and Station Road in the centre of Pitlochry, our visitor centre and gallery is an ideal stop-off if you're passing by on the A9.

What to see
The learning space is made from native windblown timber and features:
- A permanent exhibition about our work, packed with inspiring photography and a stirring four-minute film.
- Unique audio journeys that whisk you to Sandwood Bay, Ben Nevis, Knoydart and Skye.
- The Alan Reece Gallery, displaying work from different artists throughout the year
- A shop with a selection of books and other merchandise for sale
How to find us
A two minute walk from Pitlochry rail station, bus station and from the Rie-Achan road car park.
Accessible via the local path network and the National Cycle Network Route 7.
Art gallery
Located within the visitor centre, our art gallery exhibitions change regularly. Providing a perfect venue for artists inspired by wild places to showcase their work. It's named after Alan Reece, a John Muir Trust member who helped create our visitor centre to inspire and connect people with wild places.
