Wild moment: Julie Barber

A short poem written after surveying Brown Hairstreak butterflies and eggs at West Williamston, Wales.

The curlew off shore singing
Nearby the blackthorn hides
Brown hairstreak beauty birthing
Whilst sea salt air belies
Hope under wheeling skies.
