Trustees are keen to hear Members’ views on proposed changes to the Trust’s Articles of Association, with consultation open till 18 Dec 2020
The Articles of Association are the Trust’s key governance document, detailing a range of matters including its charitable purposes; what powers it has to achieve these; Trustee appointments and their powers; Members and their rights; and how Trustee and Member meetings are conducted.
Trustees are proposing revised Articles (see download below) to reflect changes in company and charity law and to incorporate current good practice.
Members are invited to respond before 18 December 2020* as follows:
- By completing the online survey
- By booking a place on our online consultation events, either: Thursday 26 November (7pm to 8.30pm) or Saturday 28 November (11am to 12.30am)
A report outlining Members’ views will be shared in the new year. Trustees will then review the draft Articles in light of Members’ views before putting them forward for formal consideration in 2021.
