Wild Places Guardian Proposal

Award management is completed through an online portal requiring a secure log in. Once you access the portal, you will be able to view your current proposals, as well as any closed proposals from the past two years. See our video for an introduction to the portal.

After completing the online Group Membership form, you will receive an email with a link to access the portal. Enter the email address you used during registration, and you will then be sent a one-time login code and access link.

Once logged in, select ‘add new’ to create a new proposal.

We strongly recommend drafting your responses in our template document first (link below), before copying and pasting into the online form when you are ready to submit. The portal will automatically time out after one hour - we would not want you to lose any of your work.

Please note that the Word document template is provided for drafting purposes only. Proposals cannot be accepted by email, you will be asked to submit your proposal through the online portal.

Once you have submitted your proposal, it will be reviewed by an Award Officer within 10 working days. We may ask for additional information or clarification. If changes are needed, we will send you a link to your proposal so that you can edit and resubmit your responses.

Once your proposal has been approved, we will let you know and you can then begin delivering your planned activities. Do not start any activities before you have received approval. Activities that take place before your proposal is approved cannot be counted towards the Award.

You can find a YouTube video walking you through this process here.
