Providers, leaders, teachers and volunteers: it is not a requirement to attend any training before you can run a John Muir Award. Please download the Award Handbook to find out everything you need to know to get started and run a successful Award.
If it's your first time delivering the Award, we suggest taking a look at our short videos, created to support you through the process of taking out membership, registering proposals and completing review and certificate requests - available on the John Muir Award YouTube playlist.
Provider workshops
We run a free 90 minute workshop each month to provide an introduction to the Wild Places Guardian Award. These sessions cover the Award criteria, how to get involved and provide an opportunity to ask questions and share ideas with fellow attendees. Booking is required, via the links below.
