Diversions and route issues

There are currently two live diversions on Section 10 of the route. The one at the Dunbar end is likely to remain in place for years. At Cockenzie, the diversion should be removed in the next couple of weeks. 

However, there is about to be another short-term diversion. We are about to replace the bridge over the River Tyne near Preston Mill. The work is likely to start in the middle of next week and will last about two weeks. Unfortunately, there isn’t a short, easy diversion, so walkers on the route will have to go through East Linton and through Phantassie Farm to get to the other side of the river. I have marked the suggested diversion on the attached map and we will be putting up signs when the work starts.
