Repair the upper Ben Nevis path

£10,000

Ben Nevis is one of the UK’s most beloved peaks, but the path to the summit is under constant pressure. Harsh weather conditions and thousands of footsteps each year take a toll on the trail. Shortcuts can result in people trampling across fragile montane species and damaging the ecosystem, as well as taking unsafe routes.
Each year we must repair and maintain the route to the summit to keep it safe and accessible for all. Materials must be helicoptered to enable essential repairs - strengthening the path edges in vulnerable spots and "de-roughing" the path surface to make it easier to walk along.
You can help us to safeguard this popular route by donating today. Your support will enable us to deliver essential repairs, protect montane species and ensure continued access to this wild place.
