What is a wild place?

A wild place isn't simply somewhere remote.

It's a place where nature shapes the landscape, wildlife finds a home and natural processes are free to unfold.

Wildness can be found in mountains, forests and coastlines - but also in local parks, rivers and even our own back gardens.
