Developments in Environmental Justice - consultation

Published: 27th June 2016

We’ve submitted a response to the Scottish Government's consultation on Developments in Environmental Justice.

We have responded to this consultation as an environmental organisation which believes that the commitment of UK and Scottish Government to the Aarhus Convention has not yet led to a compliant process for environmental justice. Although some steps have been taken towards this, much more needs to be done, leading to significant changes in the Scottish court system, particularly on the excessive costs associated with taking legal action.
