Air Madainn Reòidhte 

Air madainn reòidhte Gheamhradh,
A' coiseachd suas Beinn Reisipol,
An aimsir a bìdeadh mo chorragan,
Sneachd a tuiteam cho luath,
Sgothan dorcha dìomhair,
A' Gluasad cho slaodach,
A' tighinn bhon iarr,
Seallaidhean air a dhubhadh a-mach,
Beathaichean a' cadal tron fhuachd,
Brù-dhearg a' seinn anns a choille,
Iolaire a' sgeith cho àrd,
Feidh a' leum thairis air feansaichean
Madainn brèagha reòidhte

On a frosty morning

On a frosty Winter morning,
Walking up Beinn Resipol,
The weather biting my fingers,
Snow falling so fast,
Dark, mysterious clouds,
Moving so slowly
Coming from the West
Views blackened out,
Animals sleeping through the cold,
A robin singing in the forest,
An eagle flying so high,
Deer leaping over fences,
A beautiful, frosty morning.
