Trustee call

Our Trustees help to shape the work of the Trust, and contribute their skills and knowledge to areas of work from conservation and lobbying government to financial management.

The Board of Trustees has four vacancies for three-year terms in 2026*. We are looking for Trustees who will bring fresh ideas and experience to help guide our strategic approaches and deliver our charitable purpose.

We have encouraged applications from diverse backgrounds and wanted to hear from potential Trustees who brought career experience of management and a desire to help with strategic oversight in the following areas:

• Ecological restoration
• Campaigning to increase public support
• Finance in charity, business or public sectors
• Governance and compliance in the charity sector
• Engagement and communication
• Project management
• Crofting
• Community engagement.

*Trust Members will be contacted in mid July and invited to take part in the Trustee election, which closes at 12.30pm on Thursday 13 August 2026.
