Journey for Wildness: Jacob McIntosh

Our youngest journeyer so far tells us about his upcoming two-wheeled adventure

J4W_Jacob

  • Who are you?

My name is Jacob. I am 5 years old. I live in Edinburgh, Scotland.

  • What are you doing?

A cycling challenge from Longniddry to Haddington and back. It's 18km long.

  • Why are you doing it?

Because I want to help animals. I'm going to help animals when I'm big. My favourite animal is the peregrine falcon.

  • What do wild places mean to you?

I don't like anyone to build in wild places because there's no space for animals.

  • Why do you think it's important people get out and help protect wild places?

Because we don't want the planet to be only people.

  • When are you doing it?

Thursday 8th July
