Absolute Escapes Volunteering
Conservation activities, accessibility, and group size
- £1,600 + (including VAT) for a group of up to 12 people.
- The above cost covers expert staff guidance, materials, equipment, and logistical support.
- Larger groups can be accommodated by prior arrangement at an additional cost.
- Appropriate activities are selected based on conservation priorities, weather, group size and abilities.
Your volunteering journey
- Tailored experience: We will discuss your goals, preferred dates, group size, and abilities. We will design an experience that aligns with your company’s values and team dynamics. Our experts will suggest the best site and conservation work for your team. We will also ensure the safety and abilities of the group are considered.
- Logistics & final confirmation: We will provide all the details, including risk assessments, location information, photo sharing permissions, and expectations (kit list, etc).
- Confirmation (3 working days before visit): A final check is conducted to confirm weather conditions, staff availability, and logistical arrangements.
- Your conservation experience: Your team steps into nature, gets their hands dirty, and makes a real impact.
What to bring
To help you stay comfortable and prepared throughout the day, please bring:
- Outdoor clothing and footwear suitable for variable conditions
- Sturdy, waterproof boots
- Warm layers – the weather can change quickly
- Waterproof jacket and trousers
- Sunhat, sunscreen, and sunglasses
- Drinking water – at least 1 litre per person
- Lunch – please bring your own food for the day
- Chargers or power banks – the site is off-grid
- Bottled water – there is no running water on-site
Contingency and cancellation policy
- Weather or unforeseen issues? We’ll offer rescheduling or alternative activities where possible.
- Last-minute Ddopouts? The full cost remains payable, with funds supporting our invaluable conservation work.
- Need to reschedule? We require at least 5 full working days’ notice to rearrange your visit.
Post-visit engagement
Following your visit, we will send a follow up email to thank you and your team for your participation, provide a summary of the impact made during the visit, and invite you to feedback to us about your experience to enhance future volunteering experiences.
