Since Mission:Explore John Muir was launched in April 2013, the John Muir Trust has monitored more than 100,000 on-line hits to this free to download ebook.

Created in partnership with Mission:Explore especially for Year of Natural Scotland 2013 (although you don’t have to be in Scotland to get involved), these unique set of 20 ‘missions’ aim to inspire people to follow in the footsteps of John Muir.

Suitable for young people (including adults) and families, Mission:Explore John Muir captures a variety of Muir’s adventures and messages and turns them into easy-to-complete, fun activities.

We’ve also teamed up with Urdd Gobaith Cymru and Fèisean nan Gàidheal to create online Welsh and Gaelic versions too.
And in response to demand, a printed hard copy is now available for just £1. Visit the John Muir Trust Wild Space visitor centre in Pitlochy, Perthshire, to pick up your hard copy.
